Licensing Register
Return to Licensing Home page
The Licensing Act 2003 now deals with all liquor licensed premises, premises where regulated
entertainment is provided, and all late night hot food outlets. The register gives details of all premises licensed to provide any or all of these facilities, and the times that those facilities can be provided.
A Personal Licence is granted to an individual permitting him/her to sell alcohol by retail, and the register give details of all personal licences issued by this authority.
Details of all Temporary Event Notices (TENs) are also included. A TEN is a method of obtaining an occasional permission to enable licensable activity to take place, where a premises licence is not in place. It also allows the applicant to sell alcohol, if required, even if the applicant does not hold a personal licence
